Programme of your excursion
Visit to the port of Saint-Tropez
The mythical harbour of Saint-Tropez shelters the yachts of billionaires and jetsetters, but also pearls of beauties like the famous Gulets ,which take part every year in the legendary race of “Voiles de Saint-Tropez”.
The port of Saint-Tropez has long been one of the main fishing and trading ports of the region. In the 1500s fortifications, which can still be found today, were built to defend the port against enemies who wished to seize the rich city for strategic reasons.
Visit to the museum of the famous film saga “Les Gendarmes de Saint Tropez”
The gendarmerie of Saint-Tropez has become the most famous gendarmerie in France thanks to the saga of the Gendarmes of Saint Tropez and these colourful characters like Cruchot (Louis de Funes) and Chief Warrant Officer Gerber (Michel Galabru).
The museum of the Gendarmerie of Saint Tropez retraces the epic moments of this saga, but also the history of the many films shot in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
Made famous by Roger Vadim’s film “And God Created Woman” with the no-less-famous Brigitte Bardot, who still lives in Saint-Tropez. This fine sand beach is very popular with the stars who come sail their yachts. You will have the opportunity to swim and enjoy the place. For our junior students, we will organise beach games onsite.
